An Internal Environmental Compliance Audit (IECA) is a systematic assessment conducted to evaluate an organization’s adherence to environmental laws, regulations, licenses, and guidelines set by the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak. The audit involves reviewing operational processes, permits, monitoring data, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with the Natural Resources and Environment Ordinance (NREO), 1993 and its subsidiary regulations.
Through this service, potential non-compliance issues are identified, and corrective and preventive measures are recommended to minimize environmental risks. The audit also supports organizations in maintaining good standing with NREB, improving sustainability performance, and preparing for external inspections.
